Chad Boyer is a certified physician assistant who joined our staff at Mason City Clinic in 2007. Chad practices general orthopedic medicine, including seeing patients in the clinic, performing minor surgical procedures, surgical assist, inpatient care and on-call services – under the supervision of the orthopedic surgeons at Mason City Clinic.

Mr. Boyer graduated magna cum laude with a biology premedicine degree and LaSallian Honors minor from St. Mary’s University of Minnesota. He subsequently obtained a master’s degree in physician assistant studies from the University of Iowa, with classes and training at Carver College of Medicine. In addition to clinical practice, Chad has been a preceptor for PA students, medical students and family medicine residents. He is a member of Physician Assistants in Orthopedic Surgery, American Academy of Physician Assistants and Iowa Physician Assistant Society.
